Things to Do in Stamford: Summer Concert Series
This concert series is held at Columbus Park in Stamford and lasts all summer. You can see big names and local acts up until August 2.
Bring chairs and coolers and head to Main Street and Lower Summer Street to enjoy the sweet sounds of summer in the park. Entrance admission is only $15. Kids 12 and under are free.
On Wednesday, July 26, head downtown to see Kool & the Gang with opener The Dirty Vice Band. Kool & the Gang is perhaps best known for their ‘70s and ‘80s hits like “Celebration” and “Ladies Night.” They have recently released a new single, “Sexy (Where’d You Get Yours).”
On Wednesday, August 2, get down to the park to see the last show in the summer concert series. The Four Tops will be performing along with Quincy Mumford & The Reason Why. The Four Tops have had ‘60s hits and modern smashes, including “Baby I Need Your Loving” and “Reach Out I’ll Be There.”
